Pat Sloan

“Sloaner”

I entered USNA from Gladwin, MI. After miraculously graduating, I donned ensign insignia, married my hometown sweetheart, Debbie and headed to San Diego for SWO school. Soon our family included Scott & Kelly. In 1980, I transitioned to the civilian world and in 2008 started Sloan Technical Services. 

 My plan to ride Gulf-2-Goat was preempted when I biked into the path of a Ford Explorer. After months of hospitals and rehab, I'm now proud to play a small role in supporting our ‘75 brothers during their ride and these worthy charities.
