I graduated from USNA in June of 1975, and remained in the Submarine Force for 30 years.  Upon leaving the Navy, I entered the Defense Contractor industry, and I am still working, almost 20 years after retirement from the Navy, helping to improve the overall Defense Industrial Base.  My wife, Jan, and I have four children, and 11 grandchildren located in Virginia, Florida and California.  My hobbies and passions include swimming, backpacking, biking, and spending time with family.  I’m riding in G2G (just the NC to Annapolis leg) to honor classmates who have suffered from terrible illnesses, and to raise awareness of the great organizations we are riding for, physical fitness, and long-distance bike riding.  I am also riding to be part of something important, to ride with like-minded classmates, and to get some great exercise before the 50th Reunion. I am proud to be supporting the continued brotherhood of the Class of 1975.  Beat Army!!
