Mike Meier

I entered USNA from Corunna, Michigan and remained in the Marine Corps for 5 years.  Upon leaving Marine Air, I transitioned to Consumers Energy back in Michigan.   Upon retiring, my wife Gertie and I moved to Michigan's Upper Peninsula where we live today for 8 months/yr and SC for 4.  We have 5 sons, 6 grandkids and a Lab named Georgia.  My hobbies and passions include flying, hunting, fishing, bike riding and helping others in our community.  I also served as a USNA Blue and Gold Officer for 30 years. I'm riding in Gulf to Goat to raise awareness and support of our charities and giving opportunities which are close to the hearts of our classmates.  I also look forward to the physical challenge and the camaraderie with our fellow riders.
